The journey of Outdoor Living began with Stuart, a contractor who specialized in transforming outdoor spaces with awnings and kitchens. After completing many projects, he noticed that the beautiful spaces he created were often missing one key element—furniture. At the time, there was only one patio furniture store in St. George, but it didn’t meet his clients’ needs. Seeing a gap in the market, Stuart opened Outdoor Living to offer high-quality, customizable patio furniture that the community was lacking.
Despite not having formal retail experience, Stuart’s passion for outdoor spaces and customer satisfaction helped build long-term relationships and a strong reputation in Southern Utah. Initially, Outdoor Living focused on modestly priced furniture, but it quickly became clear that customers were more interested in high-end, customizable options. This shift allowed the store to provide tailored solutions for each individual, which is central to Outdoor Living’s philosophy.
